
John D. Schroeder joined Gowan Elizondo in June 2019. Prior to that, John worked for a large personal injury litigation firm in Corpus Christi for three years. John has brought his experience and expertise to Gowan Elizondo and has quickly developed a passion for representing victims of all types of injuries. As an associate with the firm, his practice focuses on vehicle accidents, commercial trucking litigation, premises liability claims, non-subscriber injuries, and third-party work injuries.
John was born and raised in Waco, Texas. After graduating from La Vega High School, he attended Baylor University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, magna cum laude. He then attended law school at Texas Tech University School of Law in Lubbock, Texas. Prior to graduating law school, John clerked for the Honorable Judge Deeanne Galvan and the Honorable Judge Bobby Galvan in Nueces County. John is currently a member of the Corpus Christi Bar Association, The Corpus Christi Young Lawyers Association, and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.
